| The Bad Seeds are a
rock band formed in Central Texas in the Fall of 1966. We performed in the McGregor,
Crawford, and Waco, Texas area from 1966 to 1968. Some of our
more memorable gigs were Fat City in Kilgore, TX and Sokol Hall in Ennis, TX.
Vietnam separated the band
members, and after the war none of us were living in the
same area. The next opportunity for us to perform
together came in 2000 where we were "live" at McGregor Hall
[the old Hermann Sons Hall]. The three band reunions
were titled Bad Seed "Bash's" [2000-2002]. The past
three years, we have performed
live for our friends and classmates for Founders' Day in McGregor.
We still enjoy performing and recording music together when
we can find an opportunity. [Read
